Ontology

Ontology is the branch of philosophy that studies concepts such as existence, being, becoming, and reality. It tells about a) who are we b) what are we here for c) what are happening in reality

There are 3 believes:

i)                    Only one reality-------Singularity

ii)                   There is more than one reality…….Multiple reality

iii)                 There is one or may be more than one reality exist

 

Epistemology

Epistemology, the philosophical study of the nature, origin, and limits of human knowledge. The term is derived from the Greek epistēmē (“knowledge”) and logos (“reason”), and accordingly the field is sometimes referred to as the theory of knowledge. It tells i) how do we know about reality

There are 3 believes:

i)                    Knowledge can be measured

ii)                   Knowledge can be interpreted

iii)                 Knowledge can be explained
